Starter sprockets, flywheels, clutch discs and brake pads fromSimmern

Our production focus includes the production of ring blanks. In order to produce these blanks, a flat material (various tool steels), which is optimally adapted to the finished product, is bent into a ring. The open position is permanently connected by double pressure welding. By subsequent calibration, tolerances in the range of 0.1 mm are achieved. In this way, ring blanks in the diameter range of 100 mm to 1000 mm can be produced. These ring blanks are then machined and used as starter sprockets, flexplates, slewing rings, pole wheels, gear rings, drive pulleys, ground rings, flanges and many other annular components their application. About 2.5 million blanks for the automotive industry are produced annually in our company.
